End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and UrsaPDF ("Licensor") for the UrsaPDF software product ("Software").

1. Grant of License

Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on up to the number of devices specified by your purchased license tier.

  • Free License: Personal and commercial use with watermarked output. OCR limited to 5 pages per day.
  • Pro Monthly / Yearly: Full feature access with no watermarks. Valid for the subscription period.
  • Perpetual License: Full feature access with no watermarks. Lifetime license for the purchased major version.

2. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.
  • Rent, lease, sublicense, or distribute the Software to third parties.
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or watermarks.
  • Use the Software for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
  • Circumvent any license validation or feature restriction mechanisms.

3. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. Licensor retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights.

4. Updates

Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly subscribers receive free updates during the active subscription period. Perpetual license holders receive free updates for the lifetime of the purchased major version. Free users receive updates at Licensor's discretion.

5. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any provision. Upon termination, you must cease all use and destroy all copies of the Software.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE.

8. Governing Law

This EULA shall be governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Singapore.
